I Can't Make This Stuff Up - Yet Another Update
"It just keeps coming. Thought I'd be getting $15 an hour which is nothing but more than I'll get when unemployment runs out. Well . . . wait for it . . . scratch that number. $45 an hour as virtual assistant right off the bat. Going to courthouse to get my DBA this week.
I actually hunger for my CD at the end or beginning of my day.
I may have mentioned previously (too lazy to look at previous review) that I've used BrainSync audio since the cassette days. I wasn't disciplined, though, and would listen now and then with no real consistency. Now I know.
I've always been positive but now I wake up just daring the day to show me a miracle. And in big and small ways it does.
I've got a feeling I'll be back! Great CD - I wouldn't believe it if I weren't writing and experiencing it myself! I don't even blame you if you can't believe it either."

I Can't Make This Stuff Up
"This is so long I can't type it again so I'm pasting it from the review I left and updated 4 days later on Amazon's site for a review. So ignore the reference to Amazon and just get the message.
~ ~ ~ ~
Okay, here's the deal. I've read many of these comments and one gentleman's stuck out in particular and when I read it, I committed that I would listen to this CD and then report at a later time. He was bothered that everyone was commenting about how relaxed they feel and how they drift off to sleep easily. Well, that's all nice, but no one is buying this CD for a good night's sleep. It's supposedly aimed at manifestation and positive change but finding a comment about RESULTS here is like finding a needle in a haystack. I think I may have run across two, maybe three. In addition, most people comments only days after listening when for this type of program, that's not useful for a review. So here's my review related to the changes I expected and see; not the soothing voice and the sleep effects. Let's start talking about results here.
When I purchased the CD I immediately set the date (May 18th) in Outlook and added a reminder for 45 days later. I am pleased to report positive results that may or not be related to this CD, but are worth mentioning.
While in no particular order, here are a few examples. I wrote a letter to a television show that comes on public television regarding job hunting in these difficult times. I thought the show being smaller than, let's say, Oprah, might be quicker to respond to a question so I sent in my question hoping to hear it addressed in an upcoming show. Just yesterday the woman sent me an email addressing the questions I asked about being overqualified and frustrated in my efforts. I responded then asked another question in that email expressing how I love to write (even though never having done it professionally with a background in Information Technology) and sending her a few links to excerpts ForbesWoman posted on their website after seeing an article I'd written and so forth. She sent me another email with one link, "What is your expected compensation?" I replied and then she requested my resume. That was surprising as you don't expect a television host to go that far, knowing they're probably inundated with such requests. I told her I appreciated it but understand she's a busy woman and that I wasn't expecting her to go out of her way for me.
This morning I woke up and received an email from a woman who said she was referred to me by the television host. She owns a privately held certified Woman Owned Business and wants me to call her. I will be doing so after I click send here!
In another instance, I've been frustrated at how many on professional social networks talk about doing but do not actively extend themselves to collaboration. Both men and women. I'm glad to lend myself to a project or cause and hate when others start off with fire and then drop the ball. That's not my style. Well, I was in a group on LinkedIn discussing an issue we were made aware of in a CNN article about companies not being willing to hire those out of work. In this economy that's heinous. I was fired up!! Well, fast forward and a gentleman I've never met and I have designed a formal petition that we will be circulating this Friday that we expect to go viral and our goal is half a million signatures. It will be live for 60 days. Sure, it's a big goal for unknowns, but with our energy and commitment, I think we're going to exceed it. The petition will run for 60 days and I will gladly return here to let you know how that manifests! But I really wanted to work with someone on a worthy cause and here it is, from a perfect stranger. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/HireUs
A couple weeks ago I was asked to co-host a tele-seminar with someone and I'd get a cut from those in my network that attend. When I asked later how we'd determine who was coming from my network she just casually said, "I've been thinking about that. Let's just split the profits 50/50." This is not my event and she's sharing half of what she makes just for my following. Hey!
So yes, I am, indeed, seeing incredibly inexplicable instances occurring and I am pleased. I can't say that this is directly related to listening to this CD because I am generally an optimist and address the world with a positive outlook. I just wanted to add a regular practice of some type of meditation to my regimen and I'm very pleased with how this is working out so far.
I have trouble falling to sleep with headphones or earbuds so I've taken to listening near the end of the day while I'm working in front of my pc or while I'm winding down and preparing for bed but it seems to be working just the same.
Because, as many here have said, the truth is it does lull me right off to sleep and I like staying awake for the entire program.
UPDATE:
4 days later - today is the 7/24/2010
I've been looking for a job for well over a year now. I'd written to a tv show about job hunting hoping to see my question addressed on the air. She wrote back saying they were no longer airing but loved my writing (I'd sent links) and was impressed that I'd been recognized by ForbesWoman. She asked for resume, I thanked her, even though I was thinking what are the chances anything will come from that.
Next day a woman contacted me. She owns a certified woman-owned business and she said the other woman had told her to reach out to me. We made an appt to speak yesterday at 2 p.m. While speaking, she was throwing me tips and one was that I go to some career alliance thing that would share ways to use social media to get a job. Told her I'm already doing that and even write articles about how to strategically use social media in all ways. Then I mentioned my love of writing, that I'm Microsoft Certified and then SHE mentioned she needed a new Office Mgr because her previous one just left - that day. I don't play with my reputation and won't say I can do what I can't so I admitted she was almost two hours away from me and I can't afford to commit to that when my salary would be cut into severely by the commuting expenses alone (tolls and gas). She admitted most of what she needs done can be done virtually and that I could come in once a week to start just to have a head to head and then maybe every other week as we get into a flow. Virtually? A manifestation coming alive??
Still hesitant, she said she had a meeting next week so I told her to sleep on what we'd discussed but all that she needed (timesheets, Quickbooks, social media, writing and editing for her site, tweaking website) I could do in my sleep. I told her to reach out when she returns from traveling. She said no, "I don't want to wait. I like you. Let's do it now." I'll be in her office Tuesday to meet in person and go over details. And there are full benefits.
I was just about to send the good news to a friend via email. But she reached out first. I opened it up. Another position for a virtual assistant. I'd just been concerned about taking the first assignment because the pay per hour won't cover all my expenses but it's better than nothing when unemployment runs out. I sent her an email telling her about the offer and thanking her for the forward. I'm applying to that one as soon as I finish updating this review.
THEN I sent my other friend in OR the same email about how great to have a firm offer in one hand, a great possibility in the other and she called me about an hour later to squeal with delight. I met her through LinkedIn, too, and we hit it off. She mentioned to me that she and her assistant have a lot of rollover from her web development business she runs at home and said she'd love to pay me to take it on. I was in tears. I said I didn't want to get pity work from my new friend and she stopped me. She said, "I see the quality of your work, the way you write, I need your service and why would I pay someone I don't know and can't trust when I have you?" She went into some stuff about when she was my age (42) and I just broke down.
Weeks to go on unemployment, and in a day 2 firm offers and a maybe for additional. And here's the best part. I hadn't told anyone that this previous Business Analyst and DBA really WANTED to be a virtual assistant. I'm anal about organization and love writing so what better than to do the work I like and have more free time to write and possibly freelance? I just didn't say anything on professional boards because often people consider my choice a fallback or an easy way out. I've always said there's nothing better than doing what we love and getting paid for it. Sure it's not $55 or $40 an hour, but a few clients paying even $15 an hour for just a few hours a day is more than my $1k a month rent in a week! And no business suits! And I can write to my heart's content! And no commute. I slept soundly last night for the first time in a long time.
And I still listen to The Secret every single evening. I'll update every time a manifestation comes to light. This is just incredible. Just in a nick of time! Thank you, God! "

Your ticket to inner peace and success :-)
"THANK YOU KELLY!! I'm so grateful to Kelly for this amazing product. Before I tried this I had doubts that anything could change my way of thinking differently, and I was also very skeptic about meditation. I have read a lot of self-help books but they didn't help me that much.
After the first time I listened to the "The Secret Universal Mind Meditation II" I was confused and it felt like my head was about to explode. I then saw some other reviews on Amazon that this is a normal response to some people and it will go away. They were correct since the unpleasant feeling went away shortly after.
I have never tried meditation or even a relaxation program before and I can just say WOW. I'm more confident, always relaxed, less doubt. want to read all the time, starting to get more creative etc. This is just the beginning for my "NEW ME" and there is so much more to benefit from this. I also bought the book "Three Magic Words" that Kelly is using in this meditation program. I really recommend to read the book also since you'll will understand more about what's behind the meditation messages.

Good Work
"I dont like people who copy other peoples work and take the credit , Although Kelly was generous enough to mention the book "Three magic Words".
The books author however lacks this generosity . The entire book is based on Hindu Vedic principals and the Adwait Philosophy there is no mention of this in the book. The author mentions the term 'Ancient Masters' but that is just too vague . As a student of world history I can say that the guidelines and philosophy of this book come directly from the vedas from Hindu Masters , No not Buddhist Masters , their philosophy is completely different and certainly not from Christian or Muslim Masters .Ancient Hindu Masters , and Acharya Shankar in particular. Kelly did a great job , but this attitude by the author just angers me

The Secret Universal Mind Meditation II
"Although the word God is used on both recordings and it's impact on me initially was negative. I believe and realised that it is only a word, that unfortunately the christian religion, " I feel, they have abused the power and trust it once held " The use of the word in these recordings holds the highest respect of the word God. I don't believe in any religion these days because with greater awareness comes the connection to all. Religion as become redundant for me. These recordings I use frequently, they are sincere and powerful. I have tried many products of this nature, some many times the cost. These are genuine products. Thank you Kelly"

The Secret Universal Mind Meditation II
"It's amazing. Within the very first afternoon after downloading this MP3 I immediately put it to the test & after my meditation I felt 100% better. After going in & out of my self induced pity parties for months, I suddenly felt that the burden was lifted. And I'm not new to hypnotherapy at all. In fact, I've been paid thousands of dollars over time on hypnotherapy sessions with overpriced hypnotherapists/healers that weren't even as good as this mp3. However I've tried other Kelly Howell mp3's and this one is the very best. This one is even better than The Secret I meditation. Not too many echoing voices and her voice is clear, nurturing, and soothing. I LOVE this one and will make it part of my daily spiritual practice from now on. Kelly... YOU ROCK!"

The Secret Universal Mind Meditation II
"I thought she was pretty good at relaxing me, until I heard the Christian propaganda which is subliminally pumped into your brain. "I accept GOD into my heart" blah, blah, blah... This would be ok if it was stated up front so that those of other paths could avoid it. I'm sure that there are plenty of people who want the Christians to do that kind of mind control on them. It is definitely not for me, I'm selling my copy at a loss and will never purchase another produce from this company."
