In this podcast, teacher, author, and hypnotist Richard Sutphen has provided a step by step class on how to master self-hypnosis. Over the years Richard has authored 19 books, taught countless seminars and created hundreds of hypnosis audio programs to improve your life and manifest psychic experiences.

Richard is often a featured speaker at conventions such as the American Council of Hypnotherapy. Sutphen Seminars are conducted annually in as many as 35 U.S. cities and England, Ireland and Australia. He has appeared on hundreds of local and national radio and TV shows, including Phil Donahue, Good Morning America, and Tom Snyder, where he conducted the first televised past-life regression. David Susskind built a 90-minute show around Dick's work.

    I really liked this interview very much. At first I thought it wasn't going to be very interesting - but how wrong was I! Richard Stuphen's approach and attitude was encouraging and refreshing. He obviously love's what he does and his motivation shines through to inspire us all. (as does yours Kelly). Thanks for producing such amazing shows and we look forward to the next one.

    This Podcast Kelly Howell put on was very interesting. Richard Sutphen's website offers numerous CD's that focus on many different subjects. I plan to buy a few of them and try them out! I hope Kelly has him on again. I'd like to hear more about past-life regression. During her podcasts, Kelly always does a fantastic job knowing when to speak and when not to. She always asks the right questions. Thank you for everything!

    I would like to point out that his comments concerning the brain's "beats per minute," as he called them, are grossly in error. His descriptions of the beta, alpha, theta, and delta ranges are far above what they actually are. The brain's delta waves range from 1-4 Hz, theta waves, 4-8 Hz; alpha waves, 8-12 Hz; and beta waves lie above 12 Hz. These are the normal, standard frequencies given by neurological texts, worldwide, and will vary only be a few Hz, depending upon which neurological text you reference. His description of beta waves as being 250 Hz ("beats per minute," as he called them) are pure nonsense. There are no brain waves that lie anywhere near such a frequency. The same is true of his description of alpha waves, which he said are 150-200 Hz, but, as stated, actually range from 8-12 Hz. I don't have a problem with hearing people's experiences, based upon their areas of expertise, but it is just wrong, when so-called "experts" espouse false information that is clearly out of their field.
