   Annoyed. That is how I felt. I always enjoy Kelly's podcasts. This guest, Patricia Albere, told Kelly and the listeners her 'deal' is not designed for the 'small people'... not quite in this manner but not much differently that the head of BP adressing the masses a few weeks ago. It is the very first podcast I chose to delete from my ipod. Looking forward to see you back after your six week break, Kelly.

   I absolutely love your work Kelly and follow all of your podcasts and find most of them very enjoyable, educational and inspirational - you are a fabulous role model for me - I have to say Kelly though that this podcast was very frustrating as I hadnt got a clue what this lady whas on about - it was like she had her own secret code that she was reluctant to share or simply unable to share, and it came across that you, Kelly, kind of knew what she was talking about because you had been to one of her workshops, but I felt you was a bit lost at times and rescued Patricia becasue she is a nice person and it is clear that you gell. I think you should run some of your own podcasts with different topics because you are a font of knowledge and wisdom and maybe you should have callers call in and ask you questions instead of handing all of your power to other people. You are a beautiful, kind, talented lady and Ive no idea why I need to say this but I think you need to focus more on your creativity a litte more.

   I hate to pile on but ... I agree with last few comments. Usually love the guests and topics..but wow, listening
   to this twice,hoping to figure out what in god's name she's talking about...no luck... Patricia seems like an inarticulate snob. Hopefully she can use those "powers" to find some grace...boooo!

   "Pretty part of the zeitgeist now..."? "You know.. you know.. you know"? What? What? Is this California Speak? I have to admit, she doesn't break the record for the number of "you know" in a sentence, but it's close.
   
   I can't imagine what she was talking about, except for the dropping of consciousness buzzwords. Ya know?

   Kelly you do great work and I've been listening to every podcast now for years. So far this guest is the only one not batting 100, if you know whatIi mean. Honestly, I wonder what qualifies her to talk beyond a guy that dumped her. For Patricia directly, I highly recommend in future interview you distinguish her "Optimizing growth" from higher self, creator, the source, the super conscious, etc, or fall into the trap of simply relabeling your learned reactions to a "certain lost love" for mass consumption. "Everything around you is a manifestation of the optimizing source", she says. Come on, you should have more then that at this stage in your career. We have common terms for that now - lifeforce, God, etc. This is a conversation with a nut on the boardwalk, I feel sorry you had to entertain her Kelly.

   I had a different experience from the other posters. What I got out of this is that Patricia is exploring what I would call "being in the flow" as manifest in group dynamics. From her perspective this is the next step after working on yourself, by yourself. And she feels that an ongoing year long commitment to the group creates the space where the growth can happen.
   
   Optimizing Force just seems like her marketing term for Kundalini or evolution. What Andrew Cohen talks about.

   A big red flag in my mind as soon as I heard of the association with Werner Erhard...EST.
   Cult like zeal...big bucks=commitment and so on.
   BUT..I do get the point about allowing the Optimizer to work its magic. An Edgar Cayce saying went "Step aside, and watch Self go by." So I really like the idea of stepping into Flow rather than trying to 'get' something or control or attain some desired end. So not all is for nothing here.

    I believe Ms. Albere should change focus from Optimizing the Life Force to learning how to optimize forming a coherent sentence.
    
    While I admire the fact that she doesn't wish to be a guru, I couldn't find a glimmer of information in this interview that explained anything about what this thing was. While I was intrigued by her wishing to explore a 'new approach', I would say it would be in Ms. Albere's best interest to work out a concise, user-friendly way of articulating this so people at least had a clue as to what she is talking about. I'd say bring her back for a second interview and, at minimum, do the seminar overview and a few sample exercises because even with looking at her web site, I still don't know what this thing is. Sorry. Other than that, I really do love your podcasts Kelly

    Dear Patricia,
    
    I related immediately to your experience of dynamic INNER relationship with your friend. I have been in a spontaneous reciprocal prayer agreement which began when a minister I know was going away to minister to soldiers literally half a world away. We were never lovers and never could be, but the "shared goodwill" to put it rather prosaically, is sometimes a source of courage and joy I cannot describe. Someone is on the other side of the globe and you KNOW when they are actually filling your own heart with the silent harmony of their own compassionate being. How does someone quietly slip into one's heart and turn up the lights and heat? I asked her one time "why can't I share this with my own sisters?" The silence which followed told me just to give myself courageously to whatever I know of this Love, and let it lead me courteously to wider interpersonal transformation.

    Okay so I get it, and maybe it is because I live in California or perhaps it is "When the student is ready the teacher will come".
    
    I work as a Software Consultant and when I am in the "zone" life is great, but outside that things are not working so well. Patricia does a great job of explains what is happening with me at this time. I do have goals, desires and an agenda that is blocking the movement of the force. Because I have not learned to truly trust the "force".
    
    I find that "detachment" is the best thing for me to do, sound easy but is extremely difficult.
    
    Basically Patricia is saying to open our hearts, minds, and being to the God/Force/Life and allow it to guide us. Let go of the fear of not being in control.
